Yemeni hemlock (scientific name: Dracaena arborea (Willd.) Link) is a plant of Dracaena in Liliaceae. Small evergreen tree with upright stem and plant height of 60-120cm. The leaves are clustered on the upper part of the stem, wide strip, sessile and leathery. Umbel, small flowers, yellow green, no ornamental. The flowering period is from June to August.
 
Originating in Yemen in the south of the Arabian Peninsula, it enjoys a high temperature and high humidity climate and grows at an appropriate temperature of 20-32 ℃. It can survive the winter safely without heating in China's Guangdong and Guangxi regions in winter. Yemeni iron is resistant to drought and shade and has strong adaptability. It has low requirements for soil and grows better in loose and fertile soil.
 
Yemeni iron has tall and straight leaves, thick green leaves, beautiful and elegant plant shape, and has high ornamental value. It is an excellent foliage plant for arranging offices, living rooms, hotels and other places.
