Cinnabar orange evergreen shrub or small tree. The leaf blade is oval, about 4.6 ~ 6.7 cm long, about 2.1 ~ 3.6 cm wide, and about 1.8 ~ 2.2 times longer than the width. The wing leaves are small, the petiole is short, and the leaf veins are not obvious. The leaf margin is shallowly wavy or entire, and the leaf tip is blunt or slightly concave. New leaves are light green and old leaves are dark green. The small flowers are yellowish white and fragrant, with single or 2 ~ 3 flowers gathered in the leaf axils. The young fruit is green and turns vermilion after ripening from October to December. The fruit is larger than that of four seasons orange. The fruit shape is oblate, and the top of the fruit has a small navel and concave. The fruit surface is rough, the oil cells are large and prominent or fine and concave, and the peel is soft and easy to peel. The pulp sac is kidney shaped, with 9 ~ 10 petals, large juice bubbles and empty heart. The pulp is edible, sweet, sour, soft and has peculiar smell.
