Hk$241,919,684) and the weighted average of 690,712,993 (1998:
690,942,582) ordinary shares in issue during the year.
The fully diluted earnings per share is not shown for both years because
the effect of any dilution is antidilutive.

revenue to conform with the current year presentation.
